Global health research

New call for global health research to benefit people's health in low and middle-income countries across the globe and build research capacity.

Following the success of the 2016/17 call for Global Health Research Units and Groups, the National Institute for Health Research are inviting a second round of applications for Groups from specialist academic departments based at UK-based universities and research institutes to expand into the field of global health research. Applications to this call must be directly and predominantly relevant to improving the health needs of patients and the public in ODA-eligible low and middle income countries on the Development Assistance Committee list.
