Funding

  • Applications open for Industry Fellowships given by The Royal Society to academic scientists who want to work on a collaborative project with industry and to scientists in industry who want to work on a collaborative project with an academic organisation. Deadline: 13 April 2017
  • DEBRA International ‘All-Priorities’ spring research call open inviting proposals across DEBRA’s four priority research areasDeadline: 19 April 2017   
  • Applications open for the International Exchange Programme – Bilateral run by The Royal Society of Edinburgh, to researchers from Scotland and those based in institutions with which the RSE has a formal MoU. Grants given to enhance the research capabilities of individual researchers, develop international collaborative links and enable participation in international research programmes. Deadline: 31 May 2017
  • RCUK and Fonds National de la Recherche, Luxembourg invite collaborative research proposals in any area of the social sciences within the remit of both the ESRC and FNR that involve international collaborative teams. Deadline: ongoing until 30 November 2021
  • BBSRC International Travel Award to help scientists add an international dimension to their BBSRC-funded research by establishing new contacts with international counterparts. Deadline: at least six weeks before travel
