R2A Webinar series: ‘A cup of tea with UKCDS’ Episode 2

The webinar will explore the topic stakeholder engagement from the perspective of a research donor or development research funder and discuss how it can be leveraged to generate research uptake and impact. This month’s guest speaker will be Yaso Kunaratnam, Research & Policy Officer at the UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS). The webinar will be facilitated by last month’s guest speaker Saskia Gent, Director of Insights for Impact.

Yaso will present findings from UKCDS’ new report ‘Striking the Balance: Between Competition, Collaboration & Impact in International Development Research Funding Calls & Programmes’ which offers a selection of insights for development funders about how to promote research uptake and impact and more effectively engage and communicate. The format will be concise and participative, starting with a twenty minute discussion between the guest speaker and facilitator, followed by a ten minute Q&A with the audience
