The UK's shadow secretary for international development will present her vision for the evolving role of the UK as an international aid donor. The UK government currently ring fences 0.7% of its GNI to spend on foreign aid but might a populist reaction against globalisation combined with recent negative press on the effectiveness of aid spending force the government to reconside this fencing?
