Making science work for development

Vacancy for an Independent Member of the HMG Strategic Coherence of ODA-funded Research (SCOR) Board

The Strategic Coherence of ODA-funded Research (SCOR) Board is a new advisory coherence mechanism, hosted by the UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS).

The SCOR Board brings together all major funders to ensure the UK has a comprehensive offer on science and research for international development. It aims to build high-level coherence across all significant Government ODA-funded science and research, maximising its impact and putting the UK in a leadership role in the international development community.

SCOR is looking to appoint two independent members to provide senior-level experience, advice and insight to enable the Board to achieve this mission. We are looking to recruit experts from sectors including, but not limited to, agriculture, environment, energy, technology/innovation, and arts and humanities. Applications of experts from the NGO/development sector and the private sector are particularly encouraged.

More information on SCOR can be found here and the application pack is available to download on the right of this page.

The closing date is 2nd of March 2018.
